 "Be the Blessing"

It's important to know not everyone is as fortunate as you are. Giving back to the place you call home helps to unite the community, as well as bridge social and economic gaps.

Spending time helping out at the local shelters or food banks provides an important service to less fortunate neighbors. Also, volunteering does not just help you set a great example for your community, but for kids as well.

2 Corinthians 9:6
"Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully."

Unfortunately, there is a false narrative  that we have to address first which is people who are homeless choose to live on the streets, with reasons ranging from laziness to drug addictions. Although there are a few individuals who can fit into that category, the majority of those who are homeless yearn for stability and normalcy just  as much as you or I do. We have to stop creating false narratives to make ourselves feel better about not doing that which God has commanded us to do and that is providing for our brothers and sisters who have fallen upon hard times.
